Stop the notification
Apparently fitbit doesnt realize that my phone has any other use than as a fitbit display. The constant notification that notifications are on makes me want to throw the device in the trash.

Fix the ever present notification notification!
App has been great until a recent update. Now there is a notification that cannot be cleared on my notification screen that Fitbit notifications are running. Please make it go away. I know it's running. I set it up. But I don't need to utilize my notification screen to tell me that 24/7. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. This would be a "5-star" but for this new issue

Terrible syncing problems
It's a constant fight to get this app (running on Galaxy S4) to sync with my HR Charge. Constantly telling me that it can't find the tracker even though it's inches away. This has been a long term problem.

For the most part I love the FitBit app. When the recent update occurred, if I want to get notifications on my Charge HR, I have to have a notification service running. The problem is that it puts a constant "FitBit notification service is running" notice in my notifications window. There's no way to disable this without disabling all notifications on my charge hr. This needs to be resolved.

I have a naturally low bp level so what would be great is a bp tracker like the new update in s healt. S heath is not set up with fit bit so unfortunately that doesnt work out. I need to keep an eye out for things like that so it would be useful.

Won't sync to my Samsung S4 anymore. Only to my computer. What good is an app on phone if it doesn't work any longer. Calling customer service is a joke! They at least could give them a script to read to say they don't have a fix for it! There are same type products on the market that work. Guess I will change to them. Money was wasted on this product! !! Are refunds going yo be made by this company or are they a take the money and run??

Persistent Notifications
With the latest update, there is now a persistent notification in the drop down menu. I can get it to go away by turning off notifications altogether, but then I'll no longer be notified of a low battery, meet step goal, etc. Terrible design decision. This added no functionality and only serves to annoy.

Huge battery drain
After the update battery drain increased a lot. Top consumer is the bluetooth with 10 hours keep awake! Please fix! I am passed the annoying notification when my battery shuts down in half a day

Fitbit will not sync
I have been using Fitbit for over 1 yr without a problem. The last month last update has made using it a big problem. Will not sync.

Latest version (9/15 update) asks you to implement "Fitbit Notification Service" which seems to require a TERRIFYING amount of access to your personal data based on the warning message Android gives when you try to turn it on. I am not comfortable enabling this and I think that it is a terrible design decision by Fitbit to go this route of requiring access to "read all notifications by the system or any installed app, which may include personal information such as contact names and THE TEXT OF MESSAGES SENT TO YOU..." (emphasis mine) "...It will also be able to dismiss these notifications or touch action buttons within them" WHY would Fitbit need such deep access to this with regards to "any installed app"? I could understand if it was with regards to Fitbit-data only, but "any installed app" sounds like it potentially has permission to read and dismiss notifications from things like email or games or IMs. Unless this warning message is misleading or wrong, this does not seem like responsible app design. I will happily change my review/rating if/when this changes to something more reasonable, or if/when someone shows me how I'm reading this warning message incorrectly.

Notification spam, or notification spam?
Well at least they're trying to fix one of the long list of problems with their products but as usual, they've made a half-assed job of it. Now I have the choice between a constant nagging message in my notification bar telling me to enable notifications, or a constant and utterly pointless non-removable notification telling me that notifications are enabled. Honestly, no one could do a worse job of developing this app even if they deliberately tried to fail.

Update woes like many many others
The last update has rendered the app useless. Constant pop up advising that the device can't be tracked and it appears that nothing can stop it.

New update SUCKS
Why is the Fitbit app having such issues with the Note 4/Android Lollipop? It never used to. I've had my Fitbit for three months and I've never had an issue until now. There is a constant notification banner on my screen now, and don't even get me started on the syncing. This needs to be fixed ASAP. I really don't need a constant banner telling me my Fitbit notifications are running.

Software update
Updated my software and now my Charge battery dies in less than a day. Before the update I only had to charge the battery once a week, now it dies in a day....what happened. Hating the update!

Pretty good companion app but new persistent notifications is annoying
I like the app but the latest update forces a "Fitbit Notifications - Notifications are running" message in my notification bar and won't go away. it's really annoying. Please make it not appear...
